# Privacy Policy - Mama Guide

## 1. Introduction

Welcome to **Mama Guide**, your AI-powered baby tracking companion.

**Important point**: Mama Guide **does NOT collect ANY data**. 
All information you enter in the application stays 
**exclusively on your device**. 
We have no servers that centralize, store, or collect your personal data.

## 2. Application Architecture

### 2.1 No Backend Server

Mama Guide is designed with a **"local-first"** architecture:

✅ **All your data stays on your iPhone/iPad**  
✅ **No server on our end stores your information**  
✅ **No user account to create**  
✅ **No cloud synchronization from us**  
✅ **You maintain complete control**

### 2.2 Local Storage Only

All data that **you enter** is stored locally on your device via 
iOS `UserDefaults`. This includes:

- Your baby's profile (name, birth date, gender, etc.)
- Growth measurements (weight, height)
- Feeding history
- Sleep history
- Health status
- AI assistant conversations
- Generated lists and advice

**Important**: This data NEVER leaves your device, 
except for specific cases described below (section 3).

## 3. Use of Third-Party Services

While we do not collect any data, 
the application uses third-party services for certain features:

### 3.1 Google Gemini AI (Analysis and Chat)

**Purpose**: Generate smart analyses and answer your questions.

**What is sent** (temporarily, only during generation):
- Baby profile (name, age, gender, city, allergies)
- Recent growth/feeding/sleep history
- Current health status
- Your chat message

**What is NOT sent**:
- Complete data history
- Personally identifiable information (email, phone, etc.)

**Important**:
- Data is sent **only when you request an analysis or ask a question**
- Google Gemini processes data **temporarily** to generate the response
- Per Google's policy, this data is **not permanently stored**
- Secure HTTPS communications

### 3.2 RevenueCat (Subscription Management)

**Purpose**: Securely manage Premium subscriptions.

**What is shared**:
- Anonymous user identifier
- Subscription status (free/Pro)
- Transaction information (via Apple)

**What is NOT shared**:
- No health data about your baby
- No sensitive personal data
- No tracking history

### 3.3 Apple App Store

In-app purchases are managed by Apple per their privacy policy.

## 4. What Data Stays on Your Device

The following information that **you enter** is stored 
**locally only**:

### Baby Profile
- Name, birth date, gender
- Mother's name
- Birth city
- Allergies and intolerances
- Preferred language

### Tracking Data
- **Growth**: weight, height, dates
- **Feeding**: meals, quantities, behaviors, reactions
- **Sleep**: durations, quality, types
- **Health**: general condition, symptoms, vaccines, teeth
- **Digestion**: digestive events

### Other Data
- AI chat history
- Analysis results (cached)
- Generated equipment lists
- Notification preferences

## 5. Security

Your data benefits from iOS native protections:

- **Device encryption** (encrypted at rest)
- **Passcode/Face ID/Touch ID protection**
- **App sandboxing** (application isolation)

### iCloud Backups

If you enable iCloud backups on your device, 
iOS may automatically back up app data to 
**your personal encrypted iCloud space**. 
This is managed by Apple, not by us.

## 6. Notifications

The app may request permission to send **local notifications**:

- **Reminders** to record growth measurements

These notifications:
- ✅ Are entirely local (processed on your device)
- ✅ Do NOT transmit ANY data to servers
- ✅ Can be disabled at any time

## 7. Your Rights

### 7.1 Full Control

You have **full control** over your data because it's on your device.

### 7.2 Deletion

Delete your data:
- **Via app**: Settings → Reset Application
- **Via iOS**: Uninstall the application

These actions **permanently and irreversibly** delete all your local data.

### 7.3 Export

Currently, the app does not offer data export. 
This feature is planned for a future update.

## 9. Children's Data

Mama Guide is an app for **parents** tracking their baby's health.

Parents enter and control all data about their child. 
This data stays on the parent's device.

Although we do not collect centralized data, we respect GDPR principles:
